♥BATAM♥ 18 Sept-20 Sept 2011~

Short update on our Batam trip. Overall, price was all worthed!
We reached Batam at abt 2pm and had our lunch thr first before checking in. After checking in, we played 2 rounds of Bowling. Funnnnnnnn! But i was losing all the way. Sad x100000000!:( Drinks and tidbits at the hotel are fkg exp! But we still gotta buy 1-2 bottle of coke/green tea for e martell we bought at DFS. So after bowling and dinner, we went back to our rooms to relax. As for e guys, they drank and played cards.

Second day, had breakfast(it was awesome!) and off we go to Nagoya hill for some shopping. The clothes and shoes thr were not to my liking but they've alot of cute pink stuffs over thr. Bought a hello kitty watch, hair accessories and socks for little A. As for hub, he gotten himself a polo tee and slippers. After shopping, we head back to our hotel for our 1hr massage. My virgin try. Pain and shiok. Mix feelings. Ahahahas! After massage, all of us get changed and woohoooo~ SWIMMING TIMEEEEEE! Alex and hub even tried parasalling. For those who dont know wht's tht, its actually a water sports whereby the speedboat will pull e parachute when you're up up in the sky. Looks fun aye but i dare not try. Ha! Dinner after swimming and back to e room to relax agn.

Third day, checking out at 12pm. Before checking out, we had a round of bowling agn. And once the time reached, checked out and home sweet home. Shiokkkkkkkkkk!

Time flies... In a blink of an eye, little A is alrdy 4 months 3 weeks and 2 days old tdy! Brought him to Nex babyspa for a swim during the weekends and surprisingly, he enjoyed it ALOT! Initially i was kinda afraid tht he wont get use to it but after a few mins, he starts kicking happily and he even cried when e time was up. Guess i'll bring him over every weekends and im gonna sign the package for him since he love it so much! Taken some pics and videos of him enjoying too!

Blogging while working...
Life's pretty much the same recently. Working during the weekdays and looking after lil' Ayden during e weekends. Simple to say, ive no off days now. Ha! Its been SO LONG since i last slept till 9am. But i believe, all is worth as long as lil' Ayden grows up happily and healthily.

Brought lil' Ayden to shave his hair when he was 3 months old and im not gonna shave agn on the 4th month. Another thg, this lil' monster is turning 4 months old tmr! So happy! Time flies. Cant wait to let him try his first puree! Have done quite a lot of research on all these puree, baby yoghurt, etc alrdy. Gonna go get all these for him ltr after i end wrk!

Next, wrking life is pretty good as i need not stay at home e whole day due to some personal reasons. Therefore, im loving my life now. Sometimes after work, me and hub will meet up with friends for dinner or mabe a drink before heading home. During wrk these days, i've been shopping online like crazyyyy! Buy and buy non-stop! But, im alrdy controlling. Hehee! Alr, just a short update for now. Will be back soon! Byeeeeeee!:)

Recently, lots of thgs happen. Both happy and unhappy events. I shall not list it out here. If you wna know more, you can follow me on twitter(www.twitter.com/cheryltannnn) as i'll update everythg thr! Well, went ECP for picnic with my family agn ytd. I guess hub enjoyed himself e most! He's been playing like a big kid over thr. So funny! As for me, i've been accompanying babyAyden most of e time. Tdy's babyAyden's 3rd month alrdy! Time flies. He really loves smiling and talking alot. He keep gg "ahboo, ahgoo, ahboo." HAHAHAA!! So cute! He's a real darling. Wake up only, he'll keep smiling and talking to me.

I'll be starting work in June. Working as an admin at Tradehub21 with hub. Wonder how thgs will be like. So im like seeing him 24hrs EVERYDAY! Really cant believe it. Ha! Starting work also means, lesser time spent with babyAyden. My mom will be helping to look after him during e weekdays and i'll bring him back on e weekends. I'll definately miss him tons! THIS IS SACRIFICING. If only......

Its been really long since i last updated my blog. My world have been revolving ard my family. Ntg much happened! BabyAyden is growing up day by day. Took lots of pictures for him and of course, i wont be able to update everythg here. But ive uploaded all e pics in my fb. Thrfore, readers, those of you who are interested, feel free to view it in my fb!Anyway, below are pictures of our family outing/picnic at East Coast Park on 2nd May 2011. One word to describe: FUN! Me and hub went back to my mom's place at abt 11am. Mommy prepared food, etc and we set off at abt 12pm. Lucky the weather was good and when we reach, its not v crowded. We found a place immediately. Set up e table and tent and we started nom nomming! Went cycling, etc. Its been so long since i last cycled. Me and hub rented a bicycle for 2. Its our first time riding on this bicycle! Today is A' Darling's full month and also, my last day of confinement! Woohooo~ FINALLY! It's gonna be dardar's lunar full month celebration in another 2 more days. Took a video and few pics of him tdy too!

Baby Ayden's Birth Story.

Before i start the birth story of baby Ayden, i would like to thank all my dear friends who encouraged me when i was in hospital. Not to forget my supportive husband, who stood by me throughout this whole pregnancy, always thr for me when i needed him. He has been a great pillar to me. I love you hubby!

Admitted to TMC at ard 1130pm on 17th Feb 2011. No contraction pain, no ntg. Changed into my purple gown and lie on my bed feeling nervous. At abt 12mn, nurse came and check my cervix and noticed im alrdy 2cm dilated! So they called up my gynae, Dr. Wong to check if i still need to insert induce pill. After abt 15min, nurse came back and tell me they've to go ahead with the induce pill and so, it was inserted into my vagina at abt 1215mn. Waited and waited. After awhile, contraction pain starts to kick in. But still, the pain was tolerable. 215am, nurse came in to check agn and by then, i was 3cm dilated. Next, they insert smethg into my anus to clear my bowel and at 230, the induce drip was put on. I must admit, it was indeed v pain! Contraction pain starts to become more and more intense after 15mins and i asked for epidural immediately. At abt 430am, i was being pushed into the delivery suite. Continued waiting till abt 930am and Dr.Wong came to burst my water bag. It was supadupa painful even with epidural. At 10am, light breakfast was served. Was v hungry but totally no apetite. But still gotta eat smethg otherwise i wont have strength to push later on. At 1230pm, i was 8cm dilated alrdy when the nurse came and check. Slowly after tht, i start to feel pain agn, v intense and it felt like smethg was coming out of my vagina. Quickly called for the nurse and she tell me it was normal because baby is trying to push its way out. At abt 3pm, the pain was getting more and more intense and i called for the nurse agn. This time round, im finally ready to "push" babyAyden out. 2 nurses came in to teach me how to push first and soon after, Dr.Wong came in. PUSHH and PUSHHH..... Was so breathless and nearly fainted when reaching the last push, because the pain was indeed untolerable. I was close to tears and the nurses kept telling me, "Dont cry, dont cry, continue pushing! PUSHHHH!" Finally, at 342pm, my precious boy was born, after 16hrs of labour, weighing 3.16kg, length 50cm, head circumference 34cm. But, all was worth it upon hearing his first cry. My flesh, my blood, my joy, my life, my everythg......

Went to upgrade my ring few days ago w hub at Westmall's SK , which is also my V day pressie from hub. Hasnt gotten anythg for hub thou as he ask me to save up the money instead. Hah! Also, we went to explore the new shopping mall NEX on Sunday. I love the open space at the highest level, which they also allowed pets thr. Shall bring Kiki to play thr after my delivery and confinement. YEAHH!! 3 more days left to Ayden boy's arrival!!

Waiting for Baby Ayden's arrival. Counting down: 6 more days!

As usual, went to see my gynae for scanning ytd. Dr.Wong told me the whole procedure of delivery, making me understand wht's gg to happen on tht day. And its confirmed tht i'll be admitting hospital on the 17th Feb at ngt. Meaning, 6 more days to go only! Hub is much more excited and nervous than me. He kept asking me, "You not scared meh? Not nervous meh? I v scared v nervous ley! I also scared you cannot tahan the pain cause you so weak." HAHAHAA!! LMFAO! I replied him, "I now not so nervous la, only curious how the pain will be like." I really cant wait to see mini sweetheart face to face. Wondering who he'll resemble. Hehee! Seriously cant wait for tht day to arrive. Will be gg for 1 last scanning on the 16th Feb to make sure everythg's ok. Have also preprared everythg to bring to hospital on tht day alrdy. EXCITED! Ok, will update agn soon. Byebye!

26th Jan 2011 Ex colleagues gathering

Din Tai Fung for dinner at 313 with Sanas, Penny and Joyce. Had a great time w the girls. First, dinner at Din Tai Fung, shopped ard for awhile and i feel really tired alrdy, therefore we rest at Central cafe, had some desserts and hub came and fetch me home alrdy. Really really tired. Noticed i really cant walked much anymore. The pain at my lower abdomen is killing me. Well, took sme pics and noticed i really changed alot, i look like sme ugly monster now.

Mommy and Daddy's lil' precious; Ayden Tay
(34 weeks and 5 days, 37 days to go)

Back to small updates on Ayden boy. Went for my checkup last Sat and bbAyden's head have turned down alrdy. Therefore i asked my gynae if its possible for me to deliver 2 weeks earlier as i felt terrible, as in sleeping, walking, etc. I felt v painful in my lower abdomen when im walking and sleeping especially. Insomnia ngts everyday and i dreaded sleeping at ngt. And when i toss and turn or wake up in the middle of the ngt for toilet breaks, etc, its SO painful that i can hardly move. So after much consideration w hub, ive decided to deliver, by induce, abt 2 weeks earlier, which is on the 18th of Feb(rgt after Chinese New Year). Have also spoken to my gynae and he said shouldnt be a prob. So decisions will be confirmed by the next checkup on the 10th of Feb, if everythg goes well, will be admitted to hospital on the 18th Feb.

Ive started to feel kinda nervous alrdy, because i dont know how it'll be like. The pain, will i be able to endure? Another thg im afraid is, WHAT IF, after inducing, bbAyden still dont wna come out, do i need to go for cesarean? Lots of what if(s) are gg through my mind. But well, i only hope everythg will go well and i'll be able to see a healthy baby of mine. Tht's my only wish. Lastly, i'll try my very best, to "PUSH" my Ayden boy out, i will defnately try my v best!

This long journey of pregnancy is definately not easy. Being a mommy, is not as easy as i thought too. It requires lots of sacrifices, time, strength, etc. Especially at this young age of mine, its much more tougher than i thought. While ppl are having fun outside, you gotta stay hm and rest, etc. But i've learnt, instead of focusing on wht i used to do and cant do anymore, i look forward to new experiences and advantures, like visiting playgrounds and kid-friendly places with my lil' family. I know all these sacrifices made will be worthwhile when i see a healthy and happy bbAyden.

Shall blog while waiting for my Mcd delivery. Trying their new McBistro Meal. Ntg much for me to update recently as it has always been the same everyday. Work and then home agn. This week seems to pass super slow as hub went back for his reservice. He's only suppose to book out on Tuesday for the whole week but thank god, he'd an excuse to book out everyday(except Wed) due to my pregnancy so its not exactly a tough week for me! Lastly, TGIF! Its hub's last day tdy! Cant wait to see him tongt. *Biggrins*

Mummy came to find me last Wed at my wrk place as im ending wrk early at 130pm. Spent hell lots at MetroParagon which cost me a bomb! Bought La Prairie's cellular treatment Loose powder, Chanel's twist and spray edp, SK- facial treatment cleanser as well as Lancaster's detoxifying cleanser and lastly Sisley's eye mask and eye cream. Aftermath, went back to Compass Point to have out late lunch and walked ard trying to look for some new year clothes but to no avail. Its seriously v hard for me to shop for my new year clothes in my BIG BIG stomach and tht's the reason why i wna shop earlier for it. Ended up, no new year clothes but a few new tops from PepperPlus for normal gg out casual wear. Hopefully i'll be able to find my new year clothes soon. *Fingerscrossed*

Woke up this morning with a very very swollen feet and it was SO painful! Feels a lil' bit like leg cramp though. It was so painful to the extend tht i have difficulty walking:( No choice then, i did not go to wrk. I think its because of the heavy intake of cold food. I really need to STOP! Hmmmm. Whole day at hm without doing anythg is really supadupa bored. Therefore ive gone online to shop for "Hello Kitty Car Accessories". Thgs like headrest, seatbelt cover, car seat cover, etc. But not easy finding one which i like though, if not, when i finally found 1 i like, its out of stock. Baby Ayden is alrdy 24weeks and 5days(6 months+), another 107 more days to go! Cant wait to see my tiny one, healthily and happily. He's really getting MORE and MORE active! Always kicking/albowing me non stop. Hah. But i really enjoy it though. Because tht shows tht he's growing healthily inside.

Mini-me; Ayden Tay
20 weeks and 1 day(5 months)

Went for detailed scanning at Thomson Medical Centre ytd. Hub took leave to acc me thr. Whoa, it was indeed a longgggg wait for me and hub. We reached thr abt 11+ and we waited and waited for abt 4 hrs and finally everythg done abt 3+. After all the long waits, finally........ Results out! Mini-me is a baby boy! Have alrdy chosen a name for him, Ayden Tay. Can see tht hub is really happy abt the results too. He's been as anxious as me all the while. Hmmm, no larger pics for the detailed scanning though, sad. But am very glad tht baby Cayden is v healthy and active. I can actually feel his movements and kickings now. But baby Cayden is actually way above average size, as commented by gynae. Urgh, i dont wna have a hard time deliverying though, therefore i'll control my diet from now onwards. Im also gaining alot of weight. Im weighing at 57.2kg now. Eeeeeks! Really gotta control my diet. Hmmmm anyway below are pics of baby Cayden, from just a small sac, till now i can see his head, lil' feet and hands, etc. Really happy tht my baby boy is healthy.

Hub bought me this cam to take pics of babyCayden when he's born. YIPEEEE! 1 function which we both like alot is tht is has a front LCD and a video of a clown playing can be on when taking pics of children so they'll be able to focus. Hee! Thks hubby!

Why i love this pic so much is because one day before the wedding when we're suppose to slp at our own hse, hub have alrdy planned this surprise for me. Went to watch movie with hub 2 days ago. Dont really like this kinda fighting show therefore my rating for this movie is only so-so. Hee. Me and hub is not a "movie person" though tht's why this is actually our first movie tgt. We both prefer lying on bed watching DVD rather than sitting at the cold movie theater. Hah. Wedding Betrothal; 过大礼

Ytd was also my "so called" BIG day. Its a day whereby the groom's side will have to bring those traditional thgs over, like the cakes, etc. It was seriously an uber tiring day. I slept at my own hse the day before. Woke up v early to prepare and everythg. When hub arrive, i left with him to his hse. Over thr, there's buffet served, lots of relatives and friends, gambling, chatting etc. Longggggg and tiring day. Thk god im not wrking tdy. Managed to find replacement therefore i can have a good rest. My wedding day is getting nearer and nearer. Next Sunday is alrdy the actual day. Time really flies..... And im alrdy in holiday mood now. Hah! Totally no mood to wrk anymore. Cant wait to finish my shift on Wed and Thurs and im on wedding leave alrdy. YIPEEEEE!!! Alr, gotta go and rest with hub alrdy. THY PROPOSAL~
-17 Aug 2010

Ytd hub proposed to me sincerly and formally with wedding ring alrdy. Was supadupaa surprised and touched because i never thought tht he would really propose to me as i've alrdy promised to marry him. As usual, he went to fetch me when i knock off, as i said i feel like having beancurd, we went tgt to Geylang to packet the Rochor Beancurd. When we're outside the hse, he ask me to help him to take the thgs as he needa open the door, before i cld say anythg, he told me, "put the thgs in the kitchen first hor." Everythg was part of the plan as he didnt want me to go into the rm first(everythg was inside the room). Funny thg was, i didnt even notice anythg as normally he wldnt ask me to help him to carry the thgs etc. After putting dwn the thgs, i wanted to walk into the room and saw him standing at the door of the room asking me to hurry up and he told me, "Bi, 灯坏了。" "Huh! 不要吓我ley,我明天off ley." I said, while trying to switch on the light. "Eh? 哪里有坏？" (Havent turned ard, didnt notice anythg on the bed still.) Once i turned ard only, i saw all the thgs on the bed and was really really really happy/surprised/touched. Mixed feeling which i dont know how to react for one moment. Hub still v cute, after everythg, he told me, "Bi, sry ley, i lied to you(He lied to me tht he was at farmart but actually he was at Lot1 buying my ring), i didnt do it on purpose one. After this, i promise i will never lie to you agn. Hah. Really funny. For one moment, i really feel like tearing. Hah. Hubby, i'll always love you. Thank you for being thr when i need you. But most of all, thank you for being thr even when i dont. Will always try my best to be your good wife and a good mummy. ♡ xoxo

Went to the Animal Resort at Yio Chu Kang the other day with hub, not much pics taken though as its just a small animal farm. Just ordered MCD and while waiting for my meal to arrive, shall do a short blog post first. Basically, i went for my wedding photoshoot last week alrdy. Fun but its uber tiring. And in just 1 week, my measurements change so much and my my gown was ssoooo ssooooo tight! Goodness gracious! We started with the indoor shoot first and i nearly faint because the gown was too tight and i had difficulty breathing. Wth rgt. Hah. Initially i choosed 2 places for the outdoor shoot; Sentosa and Botanic Garden but after doing the indoor shoot i was so damn tired tht i wanted to call it a day but thinking back, since its only once in a lifetime, why not just do it once and for all. Have been negleting my blog as im super busy with Kenzo's new fragrance promo lately; Kenzo Amour Floral- fresh floral scent.
